Brand story
The iconic cobalt blue of The Ritz-Carlton has a charming history. In the early 1920s, blue glass became a symbol of status in London; when the Boston hotel ordered chandeliers and glassware, they chose the same blue. It eventually became the brand's signature color, representing a level of luxury and 'ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen' service.
